Manual window regulator dilemma
So I took apart and refinished my window regulators and apparently didn't take enough photos. This is as high as my driver's window regulator will go before hitting a hard stop on the gear.

Is this hard stop where the gear is bent full up or full down?

Bump...
Does anyone have their door trim panel off their door and is willing to take a look for me? |

Both of these EBAY sellers offer L/H window regulators but the springs are wound in different directions. So which one is correct?

My '73 looks like the 2nd to last picture where spring pin is at an angle 10:00 to 20 past. Thought I had pics but I can't seem to find them. Sorry.

Well I'm embarrassed to admit how long it took me to figure this out. The hard stop in the gear is to prevent the window regulator from going too low. Once I swapped the L&R gears I have full range of motion of my windows
