CIS without the computer

Can I get the CIS system to run without the computer? I have a 3.0 engine, 930/03 without a CIS system. I found a system for a Lambda equipped engine but I do not have the computer for it. Is it possible to get to work?

Sigurd,

The 930/03 motor did NOT come with the lambda system. You need to look for ‘78~’79 CIS unit with 39-mm intake runners (-4R), WUR-045/-069, FD-031, and other related CIS components.

Tony, you forgot the word NOT between did and come in your first sentence…
The rest of your post is correct as usual.
He needs a 78/79 CIS system with the larger diameter runners.
The US Lambda CIS systems are not compatible with the 930/03 engine.

Dennis,

Thanks for catching the mistake.

Sigurd - You might think about replacing the CIS with an EFI ITB kit (since you are starting with nothing) if your local regulations allow it.

I know - heresy from a CIS lover - but if starting from scratch, then I do think that EFI is the way to go now...

Noticed you are in Norway.
Any CIS system from a European engine will work from 78 to 83 on your 930/03.
Just not the US/CDN/Japan Lambda systems.
