Finishing What I started: A 912 Journey

Hi All,

After 4 years of lurking and receiving inspiration to own and enjoy a P-car of my own.
I have decided to dive head first into a project that has been on the back burner since I acquired it back in 2017.

The story starts when I was lucky enough to acquire a 68’ 912 in okay, running condition. Unfortunately, I had bought the car with no real experience, being young and dumb and became the victim of a car flipper where there was very little honesty in the words used in selling the car.

After the first week on moving the car to my mom’s place, there was an attempt at a burglary that scared me and coerced me into moving it to a less ideal location. Soon realized I was in too deep for the pockets of a broke college student with no real place to work on the car and the car sat in a backyard tucked away until this summer.

Back on track with life, I’m here to share my journey in finishing what I started and hopefully enjoy a P-car I can drive until it gets pried out of my hands .
