Flasher works, Turn signals took the weekend off

So I’m cleaning up my wire harness as it’s from a 76 chassis 2.7 CIS/ RS clone. Before I started deleting wires and circuits from components not In use. Turn signal and flasher where working.

Now, flasher works, but turn signal took the weekend off and so did I to regroup.

I did move a lot wires around, on another post with a different electrical issue, ended up being a slight movement of the wire at the fuse box. the set screw was sitting on the wire insulation and not feeding the ignition system . So everything is in play.

I’m thinking it should be simple. Lost ground, unplugged wire.

Before diving in, any east obvious suggestions?

P.S. we had the gauges out for some dash work as well and the person helping had pulled to hard on the gauge and unplugged/damaged the turn signal indicator bulb housing, parts where ordered from host but ended up with heavier load bigger bulbs. These where confirmed working before taking the weekend off.

The turnsignals are run from a different fuse than the 4-way flasher. Check your fuses.

fuse is good, power wire may have been cut, black/green/white. jumpered it, turn signal works, but i may have damaged the flasher as i installed a larger bulb using the back lighting to check the operation of the turn signal indicators, the flasher was going to buzz to destruction, too much load. so every time i run the emergency flashers, the indicators stay on after de celecting them, with a very dim lighting. waiting on a new flasher.
