Fellow Humans!

Its back and its hard to believe it's been a decade already, it feels like just yesterday this got started. I can safely say this event would not be what it was with out our delightful host here. Porsches and the people that surround them have shaped me into the human I am today and without it all I don't know where I would be.

On any note, the run is back with a few changes this year. Due to the various health related things going on in the world I have decided to cancel the formal lunch planning for the time being. I will keep an eye on the situation and if it looks like indoor dining is a reality I will update accordingly but for the time being please plan accordingly. I also ask that at the various stops we are all respectful of each other and each others choices, please be cognizant of what is going on and respect everyones distance. Since people come and go throughout the event I feel the stops are still necessary for it to go as planned.

Im finally back in the area permanently and have been working on the car but it likely wont be ready in time so if someone has a spare seat and does not mind a passenger (leaving/returning to the start) id love a ride.

Starting Time: 8:30 (leaving the whole foods, please arrive earlier if you intend on gassing up, chatting, grabbing some food)


Official route is up, waypoint times are in the works. Just a note, the route currently ends at the restaurant that we typically have had lunch at. As discussed, Ive decided to not plan an official lunch so people are free to stop there and eat, or continue on, or simply break off an head home. The route up the river is quite nice if your looking for something to drive.

Initial Stop:
Arrive: Please feel free to arrive early if you want to gas up, eat, or hang out for a bit
Leave: 8:30 am

Second Stop
Location: The Park And Ride @ 1056 NY-45, Pomona, NY 10970
Arrive ~9:00am
Leave: 9:30 Am
This has been our spot to catch the group coming from west of the Hudson as well up from NJ.

Third Stop:
Shop Rite @ 10A NJ-23, Montague Township, NJ 07827
Arrive 10:45
Leave 11:30
Im going to leave some extra time here for people to re-group, and gas up if need be. There is a McDonalds and a truck stop there as well but neither have parking lots that are size-able enough for everyone so Im keeping the location as the shopping center.

Fourth Stop:
Coffee Shop @ 3358 NY-97, Barryville, NY 12719
Arrive 12:00PM
Leave 12:30
This is the coffee shop across from our usual lunch spot. It looks like it has a big lot and since we are not doing lunch anyone that wants to stop and eat is welcome to, if anyone needs some coffee and wants to continue on plans can me made here. This is more or less officially the end of the day but groups typically go on down the rive if the wether is nice.




I will be creating a facebook event and likely something on eventbrite to pass around in the next 24 hours. In the meantime please post an "I'm In" here so we can get an idea of headcount.


It is still unbelievable to me that this made it a full 10 years so lets make it the best one yet.

- This is a free event, there is no sign up, just show up
- This has always been a free event I have no intention of changing that.
- Traditionally this has been a Porsche Only Event.
- We are not responsible for what you do during the day. The law is the law, the Rally does not endorse speeding or reckless behavior, this is a fun event and there is no winner.
- All plans will be updated on this original post so please check back here for info
- You can spread the word to all Porsche owners you know including local PCA chapter, the more the merrier.
- This is not a PCA event and I would like to keep it that way, the PCA has many rules about their events, not all of which this conforms to. BUT feel free to bring your PCA buddies along and spread the word at your next meeting.

There is a commuter parking lot off exit 4 Cos Cob Indian field road.
Metro north parking lot. Also there is Cos Cob park overlooking the harbor.

Route is up, new starting point with more gas/food/bathroom options but good 287 access.
