Heater controls on 83 sc
 

I had to replace a snapped heater cable on my 83 sc and I removed the pivot bolt for the heater levers (to better access the cable) without making a sketch of the various spacer washers and fitment of the heater switch. Now that the new cable is in I can't recall how the switch is positioned or the positioning of the various washers'
Can anybody help, preferably with a sketch?
BTW, this is a hell of a job/repair when you don't have a lift.

Went thru this not long ago, wound up taking it apart twice to get it right. Take your seats out and have patience.

Thanks Walt. Like you I had to take it apart a few times to get it right. I'm sure I was at it for at least 6 hrs.
I eventually found the diagram that you posted on Realoem.com. An interesting site with lots of info.
