Engine mount refinishing?

So, in my slow partial redo of my engine, I'm repainting (Cerakote) all the parts I can "While I'm there".
The engine strap and some other bits like the pulleys I think might go to Shawn at Tru-6.
But the engine mounts, well, they look like engine mounts look after they've been driven hard and put away wet, so to speak, for 30 years...kinda kuck.
I was thinking of getting them plated...buuuut, they're bonded with rubber, so that's a non starter, I'd think.

Cerakote needs soaking in acetone and baking and surgical cleanliness....the rubber isn't going to allow that.

So what to do?
What finish and color am I shooting for anyway? (Stock would be the goal)

I'll send the big washer and bolts to Shawn.

I know, SOMEbody here will suggest just getting a set of Wevos!

Thoughts?

Replace them they’re no good anyway if they’re original.

Jake, definitely replace the mounts. There are 2 different versions, 91137504300 and 07 for cabriolets. Hopefully someone can confirm but I think the cab mounts use a stiffer rubber.

There are a range of mfg's for these and even thought Porsche quality is lacking these days, I'd get Porsche or German made at least.

I believe the cabriolet mounts are a bit stiffer as well

Scrap your worn out mounts and replace them

OK, it's universal!
One more cardboard box to recycle in my future!

Shaun, I guess I'll shoot you an email regarding the plating aspect, or is there a better way?

Thanks all!
