i used an old paint stripper can and it did the trick. Check your local auto painter shop to see what they use. Newer paint stripper are less stronger due to environmental requirements. Good Luck.

Make sure whatever you want to remove is actually paint, rather than anodizing.

I didn't feel like grinding a full weekend.
dropped the parts at a coating shop in the morning.
They dipped them in a basin of secred potion.
fetched them after work all stripped clean and smooth.

Make your own stripper:

Methyl Chloride
Carbopol
Ethomeen C25

Mix the carbopol (syrup) with the ethomeen (powder) u til it’s a paste without lumps, then add a bit of distilled water to thin it out, then add the methyl chloride. You can add acetone or N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone too if you have it or want a more complex chemical solution.

It will form a fell that can be brushed on to the window frames and it will melt the paint right off.

Methyl chloride and N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone are toxic so work outdoors with PPE

Black trim

The best method is to find a good anodizing shop. They can strip your trim work and they can anodize them in chrome. This way you won't have to keep buffing and polishing them to keep them bright.
