Starbucks: Sand Canyon and Soledad Canyon MEET 7:30 am T day
Soledad Canyon road east - go about 2 miles, pass under the 14 and turn LEFT to stay on Soledad Canyon Continue to Alisal Canyon and turn RIGHT Follow to Angeles Forest Highway and turn LEFT Dirt parking area Regroup point on your right as you come down off the mountain if you feel like it Continue on AFH to Mt Emma Road turn RIGHT LEFT on 47th street (the first left you come to ) WATCH for dip about 2/3 down 47th LEFT on Barrel Springs Road and continue to Pearblossom Hwy LEFT on Pearblossom and continue to Sierra Hwy RIGHT on Sierra hwy LEFT on Barrel Springs Road (going over RR tracks) Continue to Tierra Subida (stop sign?) RIGHT on Tierra Subida and follow down the hill At Palmdale Bl / Tierra Subida - gas station/ potty stop LEFT (west) on Palmdale Blvd - continue - name change to Lake Elizabeth Road LEFT on Bouquet Canyon RIGHT on Spunky Canyon (if you start climbing a hill, you missed the spunky cyn sign) Continue to San Francisquito Canyon (gas station on the corner) RIGHT on San Francisquito Canyon and follow to Lake Elizabeth Road (Tee) LEFT on Lake Elizabeth and continue to Intersection with Johnson Road LEFT to continue on Elizabeth Lake and continue- becomes Pine Canyon at Lake Hughes Continue to Three Points REGROUP / corner of Pine canyon / TALL tree in open field there Continue EAST on Three points road (straight ) to 138 Turn RIGHT on 138 - go approx 9 miles Turn RIGHT on 170th Street LEFT at T intersection and follow main road past the Poppy Reserve RIGHT on Munz Ranch Road and continue to Lake Elizabeth Road (T intersection) LEFT on Lake Elizabeth then RIGHT to stay on Lake Elizabeth FOLLOW Lake Elizabeth/ becomes Palmdale Bl to rejoin the 14 fwy (retracing your route and going past Bouquet Canyon)

^Agree. It was less windy 2 days ago and there were several areas of canyon road that were just covered with a layer of sand.
