Radio "C" bracket for back of radio
 

I've a owned a few 911s over the years and every single one of them had iffy aftermarket radios with gamey home style mounts. I have seen a few factory rear "C" mounts for sale in the classifieds but never managed to land one. I recently found there is a 928 radio "C" bracket mount that interchanges quite nicely. I just installed this and it makes for a nice rock solid factory style mounting. Passing this along, enjoy.

So thats what that thing was for. My new head unit didnt reach it
