Dry Ice - After Photos

Thought I'd share a few after photos of my Mexico Blue 911 widebody build that just got the dry ice treatment. Admittedly, it was not in horrible shape before, but dang it looks good now. It's headed to Amelia early next month.

I think he spent 6 hours on the bottom side @ $250 per. Be careful. There are a lot of newer shops popping up out there. Trigger time is key and it can go sideways pretty quickly if the operator doesn't take care. It can be a scalpel or a jack hammer. I've seen it take off grime and leave the cosmoline behind. Same with the schutz.

Looks good. Do you have a thread with more on this car? That's one of my favorite colors.

I'll be at the Werks reunion on Friday and Cars and Caffeine on Saturday AM with the car. Let's at least try to say "hi" to each other.

That’s really impressive. I think I’d do this if I were ever planning on selling my car.

I’d like to do it just so that working under my car is more pleasant!! Not that it’s the end of the world but needing a full body scrub after every little project is silly.

Watch this time lapse video of a 993 cab. Good stuff starts at about the 30 second mark.

That dry ice treatment turned out nice under there. I don't know what it looked like before that, but looks clean now.

Grimey but not crusty. That 993 in the other video I posted above was rougher/dirtier than mine.
