PPI in Long Island, NY
I've got a friend looking to buy a 928S in Long Island. Anyone know of a good shop to get a pre-purchase done? Thanks.

SM Motorsports in New Hyde Park has treated me well. Sonny and Peter are nice, knowledgeable guys. 516.775.8655. At their prior location, they had more Porsches around than most Porsche dealerships.
I've heard good things about RPMRacing in Huntington Station and Rudtner's European Auto in Freeport, but have no first-hand experience with them. Hope this helps. JP

Long Island's a . . . well. . . pretty Long Island. Call Chris Manfredi at Lynmor Motors in Huntington, he's treated me well if you're out there. If you want a comprehensive list of all the shops in the NY area, go to our web site at www.metronypca.org and go to the DE page, look at the list of approved inspection shops.
And tell your pal to look out for a Giallo Fly 930 with 1.0 boost that is lurking somewhere on the onramps to the LIE.

Does our own TimT do them? It seems like he runs or works in a shop that does Porsches?
