I've restored over 150 fans by now and never seen this. It would be interesting to see how thick the Mg is at these points.

Looks as though you could almost run your finger nail over it and poke out the holes.

Tool pressure dimple. Not enough to cut through but pretty close! Ol' Hans almost scrapped that one out lol

Note the chip on the rear of the blade at 1 o'clock. Is there any way to fix that?

(Mine has two similar chips)

Yes, I fix large chips all the time.
