Broken Lugnut on fuchs wheel
 
I was getting new tires mounted on my 911 SC and they managed to break a lugnut off my wheel. Is there a way to remove it without damaging the wheel ?

3/4" deep hole saw and let off the pressure when the outer shell pops loose so the teeth don't hit the wheel. The remaining inner slelll can be caredully removed from the stud with a sharp pointed punch and hammer.

Bet they used air tools on an alloy lug nut, didn't they? Stupid buggers.

FWIW, I swapped mine out for open ended steel.
