fuel injection system (lines)?
I had my fuel injection system off of my 3.0L ,and noticed that one of the fuel lines needed to be replaced. The line that comes from the acummalator over to the system.
I dropped it off at a shop that does hoses and such. The guy installed a heavy duty "rubber" fuel line instead of the hard plastic type that was on there from factory. Is this okay or does it have to be the plastic type for some reason? Is there a high pressure on this line? Thanks Rick 77 911 3.0L |

I think as long as it is a true "fuel injection" type line, you will be fine.
There is fuel line (rated at ~20 PSI bursting) and then there is fuel-injection line rated ~150 psi bursting (goodyear is rated ~300 lbs. IIRC). I am not sure how it may or may not affect flow-rates. Is this one of the lines to the injectors??? THAT could be a problem. It might make an injector rich (or lean)...
