PCA Northeast Concours

Hello,
Anyone know if there is a local car show for PCA Northeast. I don't have the energy to drive 6-7 hours to get to Jersey.

Anthony

Try German car day at the Museum of Transportation in Brookline. It's coming up soon. You can get info on their website.

June 15 – German Car Day

September 13 – PorscheFest

I pulled these off the website. Has anyone else been to one of these in the past?

Stop at Starbucks...

It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, in a great location. Fire it up, pay your tolls, let everyone make a living...

I went to porschefest last year as part of my "research" on porsches. Couple of Pelicanheads were there Brian993 (aka BigBpainter), and tholyoak had his SC targa entered. I've been to microcar day, and TransporterFest at the MOT too. It's a nice setting for a relaxed car show. Porschefest is billed as a concours event I think (check the PCA site), so some of my favorite cars were in the parking lot

click on the PorscheFest 2002 button.

That looks pretty cool over at MOT-

What are the rules with concours? My car has been touched up a little bit, but not restored.

My father was telling me about a car show on Sunday (10-3) in Melrose over at the High School. I don't think it specialized foreign cars, but it seems like fun anyway.

These lawn events are alot of fun, all booking issues aside!!!

That's a good question. I'm not exactly sure but they did have a "drivers" class all the way up to a new 996 w/ about 60 miles on it (judge was joking about scoring a factory fresh Porsche).

It seems that they were pretty laid back. I was looking at a turbo 911 and someone was giving the owner a hard time (jokingly)about some insignificant non-stock item (cellphone/radar detector/cupholder??). Turns out it was a judge (you can always spot 'em w/ a clipboard).

They don't have much info on the http://www.porschenet.com website, but there is a contact email listed on the calendar page.

I eamiled Borris about it - didn't ans the question. The email with the tiac address isn't valid anymore and AOL won't except email from my "Rogue" email server. I like my "rogue" server which has better uptime than the cable network. Would be up for over almost two years but I had a 25 minute power outage that drained my UPS last summer....
