3.6 conversion
 

I am going to do a 3.6 Conversion. I bought a 1976 911 Carrera chassi and getting a 1990 3.6 C2 engine. Is there a kit or a list of parts I can get for the conversion? Also I know I need a intercooler. I found one out of a 1997 993 that goes under the engine lid. Its rated for 550 Hp and 14.5 lbs of boost. If I would go with this intercooler do you know if it would fit? Thanks for your time.

is your 3.6 a turbo? anyway do a search search of my post 3.6 conversion part 1 2 3 4 5 etc, im intalling right now and you will find a lot of info, also pbs911, jack o, bill v, and a few others will be of help, jack and bill have great websites on it, go to www.instant-g.com Steve Timmins will be the place to get the parts, buy the package its cheaper, get the power steering block off and air cleaner, you will also need the ctx chip for it to idle correct, have fun, I should have the rest of my parts next week and plan to finish it between the 22nd and 1st, ill post more pictures, cant wait to here it run, Kevin

Oh yeah...you'll get much more power from 3.6 N/A with intecooler! :D :D
