MS3X - Stumped

Still working on a tune for my engine and have come to Fuel Cut. There are a few problems that I just can't figure out (probably something super simple - and I'm super dumb).

1) During decel, why would my IAC valve come open, if it's not in an IDLE engine state? See red boxes. Because the idle IAC opens, the MAP creeps up over the 60kpa threshold that I have for fuel cut and the fuel cut turns off, the VE jumps, the timing is already low (fuel cut and next question), and then the backfire. Ugh...

2) Timing: it's my understanding that timing can be kept rather high during fuel cut to aid in slowing down and to prevent backfiring, cackle, etc... Is this true? If so, how to I keep the timing from being cut during fuel cut? Blue box/arrows?

Tune attached and one data log that has this episode in it.

I can't figure out how to attach the tune and log? Can someone show me where to look? The paperclip isn't working.
