hi everyone,
i just finished taking pictures of my car in preparation to sell it - and my odometer just quit working on my drive home... a few weeks ago, my tripodometer (sp?) stopped working as well (just broke 180,000 miles) - obviously i need to get this repaired before I sell... i had my speedometer changed to a 150mph face at Palo Alto speedometer about a year ago - any one know if they can refurbish the odometer as well? any idea on cost? maybe it's a sign that she doesn't want to be sold :> - any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks! -Dylan

Palo Alto speedometer can repair the odometer. It's not that hard tpo fix, usually a stripped gear. They repair this all the time. Don't know the cost but they can tell you if you call.

I believe that when they refurbish the tripometer gears they also do the odometer gears since they are interconnected.
North Hollywood Speedo recently fixed my tripometer and converted the face to 150mph for $140. I didn't get the breakdown b/t the two but I'm guessing the odometer repair only would be around $100. Check the archives as there is a website that sells the gears if you want to DIY.
