Fun with Graphics, new Carrera font.
|
Put a guard rail at the top of that retaining wall.
I not partial to the green? I don't care for the font? It's a beautiful car as is; leave it alone and go cut the grass or something? Nice photochop job though. |
Mikey, Mikey, Mikey......IMHO, Porsche got it right the first time.
When are you gonna convert her to a coupe :) BTW, any word on another SB Run? |
I have to admit...the first time I saw the "real" Carrera font... I thought "Oh Great.... another example of Cheezy 70s logos, I cant believe that Porsche got sucked into that too"
Then I learned more about that particular classic car, 73 RS and slowly my mind changed and now I like it. The duck fin helps too. Remember the 70s? I was just a kid...but like every other car had some cheezy logo or stickers on it... like the auto manufacturers just had to differentiate a Le Car from an AMC Pacer. |
no no no...I already did the drawing, you can't change now! Ha Ha
|
Mike, that thing needs some tack-on flares and red 993 wheels. You know, to match that other...car.
|
Couldn't be gayer. Well, hot pink lettering might do it.

Looks kinda Hanna-Barbera Carrera . . . you know, makes me think of the RoadRunner and his ACME products
|
Yeah, uh...NO!
The only reason I think we think the original Carrera font is 'kewl' is because it goes with the times. It never was cool in it's time but has only become so as a retro thing. It puts a car in a specific era, fine. You will have a hard time making it look decent apart from it's history methinks... What're you anyway, some closet ricer, needs a bunch 'o decals and some coffee cans hanging out the back (joking, joking, joking)... |
Do you have a vinyl cutter or something, Mike? ;)
Looks a lot better with those wheels, too. |
Don't quit your day job.
|
Mike, cemon...what's the deductible on your vision care plan.....? Maybe we should start to collect
