Almost Done

My 2 1/2 year restoration is almost finished. just need to finish some minor details like the driviers side window, installing seats and lets not forget the engine. This project would not have been possible without this BBS and Pelican Parts. Thanks Wayne!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/MAY18.jpg

Sorry, first time uploading pics.

Bought the car 2 1/2 years ago. 1968 911 S. Original color light ivory. Car was originally purchased in Italy and shipped to the US some years later.

Bare metal restoration, car stripped and repainted with Porsche Silver, I dont remember the color code, same as the silver on the 1964 356. Dupont process 2 coats of color and 3 of clear.

1969 911 S Engine wich has been increased to 2.2 Liters, Weber Carbs KN Watershields and Filters. MSD 6AL Ignition and Coil. Dansk Stainless Dual in Dual out muffler. (rear bumber modified to fit). Dyno's just shy of 195bhp.

RS Carpets installed. Seats are non original black leather highbacks(still undecided ).

Talbot Mirror, brushed stainless. I am undecided on the rims, I may paint them to match and insert black painted center caps.

I will not be reinstalling the engine myself, decided to let a PM take care of it, I am far too crunched for time.

None of the original S deco trim will be installed, I love the way the car looks as is.
