997 GT3 brake duct spoiler?
I've read several posts on brake cooling using either air scoops with hoses or using the 993 air deflector, but yesterday a trusted wrench said that he's heard that the 997 GT3 brake duct spoiler also works on our cars and is a bit more aggressive at channeling the air. Has anyone tried using them? They're cheap enough that I'm tempted to get both styles and see.

I just did a search and expected to find a bunch of folks with GT3 brake duct pics. Nope, just this thread. So does this work? Any one with pics of GT3 scoops on a G body?

Since nobody replied, I threw down a whooping $7 to give it a try. Not sure if they'll drag the ground or not. I'll add some zip ties to help protect my $7 investment. (P.S. Don't give me crap about my red painted 930 calipers!)

Nice find, I expect it to work by having a look at the design ;-)

Nice. I have 993 deflectors zip tied on 84 A-arms. I can attest this kind of things work as my brake pad wear substantially decreased at track abuse. What i would like to do is something similar to the rear. wimpy 84 rear brake pads need some love.
