ClassicRetrofit AC Ask for SSN

Hi!
I bought a whole AC package on ClassicRetrofit for my 88 Targa last year (AC+Alternator+Fuse) for $6k+. And it's finally shipping!

But they ask me for my SSN to import.

This link from CBP said any imported goods > $2.5k would need a SSN. https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-314?language=en_US

Should I give them my SSN? Are there other solutions? Thanks!

No other solutions. I believe they need it for customs. Comptroller hit me up for extra duty tax on it as well. Can't remember if I ever paid it, oh well.

They need one or the other, not both, give him your tax id number off of your W9.
