Air in the 944!!

Well, my son's 944 had developed a leak in the evaporator last summer. I found one on ebay for 60 bucks. Installed it today, only took about an hour or so. I vacuumed it down and charged it to spec charge and blew the 20 yr old high side hose. Ran down to the local hydraulic shop and they made me one up in less than 20 minutes. $34.00. After another 2 hrs of work she is cooling!! Wahoo! That hose is a pain in the arse to get at. Had to remove airbox and alternator to get it off the compressor. Reached thru the front air dam to get it off the condensor. Took twice as long to change the hose than the evaporator.
