New Oil Fan Thermostat switch from Pelican not working...
Installed the 99 C thermostat switch i bought from Pelican yesterday, it was quite a pain to install, had to remove the oil cooler to do it. Not a big deal, except it does not work
![]() One end connected to the wire that came on the OEM thermostat, the other to the ground on the radiatior. Called Pelican for tech support, but the guy on the phone was no help. Anyway greatly apprecite it if anyone has any hints for trouble shoothing this thing. thanks alf

Use a multi-meter to see if the switch kicks off at proper temperature. Sure you're hitting the temp?

99C is 210F. I think 9'oclock on the guage should be about 225F, so the fan should be on...unless my temp sender unit is off.

Test the switch in a pan of cooking oil on a hot plate ... make sure the contacts close by an indicated 225 ° F on a meat thermometer, or thermocouple probe on a DMM/thermometer.
