I was reading Bruce Andersons 911 performance hand book and was trying to figure out my engine code. It was a hard to figure, but I don't think he included 84 and up. My engine code says
930/21 and on the upright of the fan shroud is *64E03693*
Can anyone make these out?

From the Porsche Family tree book

your number is from a '84 911 Carrera engine numbres from 64E00051 to 64E05817, 200HP @ 5980 RPM

Thanks for the info, I was just wondering if the P.owner had put in a Euro engine and then smogged it to Ca. spec.
