Help me pick a paint color for my steelies!
Hello,
My widened steelies are currently in primer as I decide what color to paint them. They are going on an Irish green car. I'd like to stay close to the factory color but maybe something with a more satin and or anodized look. Let me know if you guys have had any luck achieving this look with a specific aerosol paint. All recommendations welcome. Thanks! ![]() ![]() |

Light bronze: ![]() Gunmetal grey: ![]() Also, on a side note, it's rather difficult to find specific wheel colors on cars that aren't white, black, or silver. Not enough people have COLOR in their cars. (I say, with my black car...) Sadly, I've never painted anything like that myself so I can't make recommendations as to what paint to use. |

Is the car going to have any accents like stripes, meatballs, etc…?
The gold family looks really good with green- a dark bronze-gold in saying would looks sharp

I will definitely do some black vinyl accents on the back bumper. I think I'm looking for something more in the non-metallic, silver, bronze family. Can anyone recommend an aerosol can paint that will give me a similar finish to the below?

Look at the Eastwood offerings, they used to have several shades of silver/titanium and one may be exactly what you want..
