Wiper wont park - quick help!
I replaced my factory original 1975 metal arm switch with the factory replacement updated part. The new switch is the same as in my 89 Carrera 3.2, plastic arm etc. With the old switch the wipers park, with eh new on they do not? the new switch came with a brown ground wire zip tied to the wire harness, where is it zip tied to the switch frame. It just has a female blade end on each side. I assumed this was to ground the switch frame to the chassis better, but that seems to had no effect. My old switch had no such ground wire, just the plug. This car is a 1975, and has no intermittent, just 3 speeds of wiper.
Any thoughts on why the new Porsche switch wont park?

Not an expert by any means but I think you need that ground for wipers to park.

I dont disagree. But the old switch did not have one at all. So where would I put the ground?
