You can revalve them but AFIK, Koni is THE adjustable shock to use....

Harry, I live across the street from Clear Lake in Friendswood.
I think the Bilstein DS9 stuff is adjustable, but I don't think they make it for anything earlier than the 993, or maybe the 964. |

The rear shocks on my car aren't top adjustables. This means to change the setting you have to unbolt a load of stuff. I've set them to the second softest setting (out of 4) on recommendation. The fronts are top adjustable so (when fitted) you just turn the top of the shoch with the device provided & you're good to go. |

I put a set of Bilstein RSR struts on my lowered '72 911S clone. They are not adjustable with t-bars but the option of changing the coilover springs (if you go that route rather than tbars) is there. The strut insert was set to a sport HD setting but I do not know what. The raised spindle height does counteract the bump steer issue without using the big washers under your steering box. HTH
