Part # help- early front latch support panel with A/C

Hi,

Can someone please tell me the part number for the above part?

The regular panel is part # 90150103121. Apparently there is a different panel for early cars with AC. Unfortunately, I was told that it isn't as simple as cutting a circle out of the panel to fit the blower.

Thanks,

Am I right in thinking that you're looking for the part that goes at the very front and bottom of the luggage compartment and is used to mount the front condensor (on a '66, '67, or '68)?

Neil, that's the only Porsche PN I can find (obviously superceed by 901.501.031.21.GRV) but I have seen some aftermarket reproduction companies offering two different models (for AC or no AC), I know it does not help with your question..

And no, is not as easy as cutting a circle.. there is also a square cut for the front AC condensor.. at least on mine

I guess that a call to a 'friendly' Porsche dealer with access to on-line original parts will answer the question.

regards

Thanks for the help.

Below is a picture of the part for sale and an edited version of the same picture showing what I need. I am not sure how the panel connects to the trunk floor, but I don't think it is part of the floor itself. That's another part.

This is for a '73 911 with Behr factory AC.

Thanks again,

Yup, I can't find any other part numbers for that piece on the '73 either (and there was me thinking you meant *really* early cars in your first post :p). From the looks of things, the non-US AC system mounts up differently, so that's no help. :(
Looks like it's time to get the Dremel out...
