Vasek Polak story

What's the story for Vasek Polak? Did he sold all the collection and dealership all together? Is the dealer call Pacific Porsche now?

No kidding! I'll probably never forget that photo of the 12-cylinder 917 engines stacked like so much cordwood.

I thought I had more digitized articles about him, but can't find them at the moment. Here is his obituary from Autoweek.

He was a great man in the history of the Porsche marque. Some folks say that he was a real SOB to work for, but he clearly knew his business and enjoyed his life to the fullest.

The current issue of Excellence, (June '03), has an interesting article about Jack McAfee in which V. Polak figures prominently.
