Wheel stud recommendation

Looking for wheel hub stud length recommendation (front and rear).

I have a 1980 SC, with 930 metal flares, not completely sold, but thinking if using the following wheels:

Model: LINEA CORSE FOX 1 PSD
Size: 17X9 & 2 PCS 17X11
Bolt pattern: 5X130
Offset: 16
Hub bore:71.6

What size wheel spacer(s) will I need and how long should the studs be?

if anyone has this set up please post picture.

Thanks

Bump and my thinking -

If these are designed to be used with stock SC’s and turbo flares are about 2” wider, guess I’ll need a 2” spacer…

If true, than I guess I need a 2” longer wheel stud - thoughts?

Hi SFR, I’m using the same setup on my ‘78 SC backdate with 930 flares. I’m running 28mm wheel adapters in the rear, otherwise the tire will contact the frame/oil lines. No adapters up front. I’m running 245/40/17 in front and 275/40/17 in rear. No rubbing.

Hope this helps.

Jerry in NJ - guessing you changed your rear wheel studs; what length?

Thanks

Wheel Adapters

Hey SFR,

To clarify, I'm using 28 mm wheel adapters from H&R (bought from our host). The adapters have their own standard length studs built into them. In the event you're not familiar with these, the adapter secures to your hub in the normal fashion using open lug nuts. The wheel then is mounted to the adapter with your current factory lug nuts. I find them to be very secure without issue. Recall that the 930 used a 28 mm spacer at the rear from the factory. Please let me know if I can assist further.

Thanks Jerry - you did say adapter, but my mind kept thinking spacer…
I am familiar with adapters.

Your car look great!
Do you have a picture of it from the back (would leave to see how the tires look)?

Rear Tire Pics

Sure thing, here ya go. My original goal was to fit a 315 on the rear, which in retrospect could likely work, but it would definitely require moving the oil lines....at least on my car. And probably too much tire for a 3.0L.

The thing to keep in mind is how/where your rear flares were mounted on the body, as this will likely affect how much room you really have to work with. I've tried to give you a few different perspectives of the rear. Car is below euro height.
