RSR Steel Flare options?
Howdy ya’ll-
I’m contemplating going the RSR route on my (non # matching) LWB long hood project; is it me, or are there not many steel flare conversion options? I’m not totally against fiberglass (the quality has improved greatly) but I prefer all steel as my first choice. Can you get a quality look/finish from the fiberglass options? I do have a set of steel 930 flares that I could shape , but am at a loss for what to do on the front fenders. Can I use 930 front flares and shape them? At $5k, this seems a bit steep, but I did find this set at AASE: https://www.**************/collections/porsche-911-body/products/rc3-a73-2890t-105625?variant=1729009988 Any thoughts on a path forward would be greatly appreciated.

No reverse gear in life

Don't think our host carries them...
I'm in the UK/France - so a couple of choices here, but still pretty expensive... I paid 4,200 euros for a set for my latest build from Differs - but that was a few years back... (~$4,400 USD as of today's exchange rate)... UK - EB Motorsport has them - here is an article in Ferdinand about them (https://ferdinandmagazine.com/porsche-911-rsr-arch-flares-eb-motorsport) EU - Differs has them

I’m a big fan of using metal wherever possible on street cars. And, from the sounds of it, you have the skills to reshape turbo flares or fenders.
Personally, I’ve never liked the crease in the 930 fender lips. Also, I have 15”x12” Campys slated for the back. And, while I haven’t mustered the nerve to reshape the rears yet, it’ll need to be done for fitment I did hammer and dolly the front fender creases out. This made for a much more visually appealing fender IMO. It doesn’t really duplicate the the RSR fender. Which, I believe has more of a squared off wheel opening. It’s more representative of the ST fenders. Anyhow, not sure if any of this is helpful. But, if so, I’m happy to post pix.
