Sunroof felt
Promise I searched but most threads deal with new installation of seals, etc. My “problem” is far more trivial.
When closed, the felt which goes around the exterior of the sunroof on my ‘87 930 will pop up in one spot about 3” long. I can’t figure out if I can glue it back somehow or fix it. Pic below and please disregard the dirty roof as my son and I were out driving a few hours prior. Thanks! ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ha! I was going to ask exactly the same question because the sunroof felt on my BMW E12 is doing the same thing. I have some upholstery spray adhesive and a thick glue, but given what it's glued against I'm not sure what would work best.

Dab a bit of 3M yellow or black weatherstrip glue on the bottom edge of the felt and tack in place after making sure the flexible bead is at the top to form the welt.

The non dealer felt without the metal edge tends to do that. It pretty much is coming apart right out of the package.

use a "plastic syringe with taper tip" from McMaster Carr for the adhesive. You'll be able to get it deeper and cleaner.
