Slutmobile looses a tooth

I was changing the transaxle lube and I found this..
Shiny on one side from wear and just a little on the back.
Trans had 1-2 synchro replaced by PO.
4 gear requires careful rev matching to get into.
I was changing out Amsoil Synchromesh fluid for Swepco 201.
Swepco is thicker and slower shifting, but gear shifting effort is still the same.

Your cars name might have been appropriate in the 80’s but not now.

Looks like it might be a corner off of one of the guide sleeves (the three lobed thing under the synchro shift sleeve).

It was meant to be a joke meaning that an old air cooled doesn’t attract sluts anymore.

I'm not offended but just be careful on FB. I was talking to a buddy about his drift missile and said the words "track slut" and 5 seconds later I got a 30 day timeout for "bullying". I tried to appeal it saying it's a common term for beater track cars and it's an inanimate object but they doubled down. So dumb

Well that sucks. I had many more soooo I've been down that road. I'm nowhere near a 'spert so I won't say anything about what to do. Good luck.

Dang you all live in Karen town, around here when I beep at the girls they wave back instead of giving me the finger, but I'm old and have white hair so they are looking for a sugar daddy.

Hey Jim, no the Taj Garage is only this far along.. The power company installed the buried lines today so in 10 days I hope to have my rough in inspection. Things move slow in Mayberry, I had no idea it would take 5 months and 50k to get this far.
I have been collecting parts for the rebuild because my engine is way over 300k and the odometer has not worked for 12 years until I fixed it but it is still turning slow after 3 trips to the speedo gurus.

Shop envy! I recall some pictures from when you were framing and it seems to have progressed pretty quick.

Kind of you to say. I fired the contractor 6 weeks ago for being a drunk and screwing up the design and someone here called out the collapsing roof. What a PITA..I'm 66 and get up every day and work on it by myself until I am beat and go to bed and do it again. There is no labor here at the beach, this years imports for labor are Thai girls to help in the stores.. You do big jobs here in the winter after rental season and I did but the 4 week job is going on 6 months. The rental houses suck up all the labor to keep them making money and the whole island knows who's the boss. The permitting people got me twisting on a hook and I had to go up the chain of command to get some things straightened out so I am not in the local inspectors good graces. The fish are on and the wife wants to go catching, but the GARAGE...
I payed for the lift and even they are calling and saying WTF?
Meanwhile its getting hotter and hotter..
I'm just a whiny *****.

Sorry, I'm grouchy. It is Bike Week here and there are 20,000 idiots playing dress up outlaw biker..I'm 75 miles inside of the National Park on a 2 lane road in a 25 MPH speed zone with 4 different law enforcement agency's that are shooting fish in a barrel when they come to town. For the most part the LEO's have nothing to do until they show up and they have been sharpening their pencil all month in anticipation of the biggest income producing spectacle of the year. So no sleep, bikers and sirens all night long. Then all day its idiots turning around in your driveway.. "Hey man where can I get some food?"
The gas station sells hotdogs..
"No man I mean real food"
There is no franchising inside the National Park, you got to go up to Nags Head..
"Dude how do you survive? There is nothing here"
That's why Bike Week is up in Nags Head..
