What does CPR means on a 911 invoice ?

Maintenance:

I am looking at invoices for a 1986 Carrera, and first items on several of them is CPR, for various amount - 180 $ to 545 $ - sometimes it seems to end in labour total.

What does CPR stand for ? It is often under the Maintenance heading.

Thank you.

Following info was gathered from the invoices, CPR cost line:

487,50$ Feb.2022. 143,618 miles
690.00$ Feb.27, 2021. 139,773 miles
1575.00$ Feb 1st, 2021. 139,385 miles
525,00$ Nov.24, 2020. 138,359 miles
110,00$. Oct.9, 2020 137,722 miles
180,00$ Aug.4, 2020. 136,491 miles
479,60$. June 26, 2020. 135,588 miles

As you can see, come pretty expensive maintenance costs, and some of them are near each other (dates and mileage).

Any thoughts ? Thank you.

did you call a local porsche dealer and ask them?

JCFL 04-29-2022 03:20 AM

Will do - was hoping someone here would know.

Could it be for the CPR you may need when you see the cost!?! :)

Is the car local to you?

If not, could be CPR Classic? They are a well known shop, maybe the work was sublet to them?

I found what you are mentioning in my search - however, it has nothing to do with the CPR shop. If you can reach the web site, I believe photo is here...

Otherwise is photo no. 223 of 295

customer pay repair

theiceman 04-29-2022 05:05 AM

its just an acronym of some kind they use for labour, i find it interesting they just give you a total and dont actually tell you the time they spent on it or the time billed , just the overall cost.

^^^this^^^

If it was warranty, it would say, WARR or something equivalent.

How about calling the shop that did the work?
I think we are all wondering what it means
customer requests price?

Can u post a pic?

Look closely at the invoices. It’s labor. Every time it says CPR, down below there is a reference to labor in the same amount. I think the guy who said customer paid repairs is correct.

Matt at Pelican Parts 04-29-2022 12:01 PM

CP usually stands for "Customer pay" so CPR probably means "customer pay rate" or something similar

proporsche 04-29-2022 01:30 PM

ok it is said ...but after the price list how about CPR, the real one is mouth to mouth

Indeed, CPR is the total amount of labor cost, as per verification on invoices at hand. Again, thank you guys.
