tach question

will a tach from a 73 914 work in my 70 911?

No - the 914 is a 4-cylinder tach whereas the 911 obviously requires a 6-cylinder tach.

The 914 version may give a reading but it will not be accurate & may not last very long!

I had my Tach recalibrated as a 6cyl cast less than $50.

No real problem
