Another happy Al Reed customer

Guys,
I picked up my 5 early wheels from Al this morning and they are beauuuuutiful.
I was going to go with the original matte finish but I liked the polished look so much I switched.
Cost was $50.00 per wheel, $15.00 each for the hand painted center crests and $5.00 per wheel to dismount and dispose of the tires.

Its almost too good to be true, isn't it? ... I propose that we develop a code name for Al, so that his work can go underground and therefore be protected from abuse by those not a part of the inner circle (its really so his prices won't go up).

PBAR???

Polishing By Al Reed

Once the code has been agreed and accepted, he will only be referred to by the code, with actual name and telephone number info to be exchanged by private PM only.

Maybe we charge for the contact information. We could be his agent - equally divided by those in the know...

They look great! Post a pic after you get them back on the car.

SoCal911T, did you have the wheels clearcoated, and if not, what is Al's recommendation for keeping up the shine?!

Thanks!

Al recommended clearcoating them only because I live a block from the beach. He charges $25.00 extra for clearcoating. Mine actually ended up not being clearcoated because of bad follow up on my part but he said I can just take a light metal polish to them every few months.

Al did my wheels, I was very pleased with both the price and results.
He also polished the lug nuts for $1 each, IMO that was the needed final touch, it really stands out from the black background.
