Sunroof transmission
Sunroof transmission. I’ve discovered the the large brass gear spins freely on the axle with any type of load so it won’t operate the sunroof. Before I buy a new transmission am I missing something? It seems that the rubber connector should be the sacrificial component but mine is intact. The axle has a flat spot that I would assume would match the shape of the hole in the large brass gear that goes over it. Did mine round itself out? Or is there something I’m missing that prevents the brass gear from spinning on the axle thus operating the sunroof? Everything else seems to work as it should
