Does this need fixin? (Window Crank)

Have a similar post going, but wondering if this needs to be repaired. The circled part doesn't stay in place when I crank it.

The pin holding the spring in place is about to snap, if it hasn’t already. One it breaks the window will not stay up on its own. Part cost a few bucks.
