Back on the road, 13 months later, pics.
Finally! Got a few things to sort but otherwise went well. She fired up on the first turn of the crank to boot! A few pics. More details to come.

As a side note I fixewd the rubber oil line kink problem by rotating the hose on the barbed fitting with a channel lock (gently) until the tubes natural bend was in the perfect plane so as not to kink.
Things done were rebuild tranny (very nice!!!) new clutch K27-7200 turbo valve adjust powder coated LOTS of stuff euro style heat exhangers (jet hot coated) Monty dual out muffler Tons of new seals, hoses, gaskets, etc.. clean and pack cv's (saga to come) new dizzy new alternator MSD blah blah blah Absolute boatloads of little while I'm in there stuff!!!!! (majority of time & money here) I probably missed alot of stuff, sounds like a short list but it's not for me.

Yes, Ruf wheels. Heavy but strong and beautiful. IMHO

All I can say is 'Thank God'. In 13 months the business has gone downhill, your office has been cluttered with exhaust pipes and hoses, the email system is backed up with questions and answers about Turbos, and we won't even talk about all the missing tools from the supply room.
Maybe I can borrow the car tonight to take the missus for a spin? |

One of these dsays I will figure out who you are! Your right about the office though. My mind is definitely less cluttered now and I might be able to focus on business again. Just don't blow it up or I'll lose my mind, literally!

Hey "lendaddy's boss",
Could you talk to my boss, and tell her we need a supply room with tools I can borrow? Nice job Lendaddy! It must feel great to be back on the road. How does the K27 feel? Are you going to intercool, or just drive it for a while?

Yes it does feel good. I Will eventually intercool with a custom setup to keep my tail. Right now I have a wastegate issue and I am hitting the overboost protection in first. Not sure if it is the gate or the 1 bar spring. I will probably go with a tial unit with a .7 or .8 and add EBC. I never hit overboost with the old turbo but whatever. Also I have an open pipe on the gate and I can hear it opening much before full boost so something is wrong.

Congratulations!!! She looks great!
Did you rebuild your trans or have a shop handle it? If you did the rebuild, how difficult was it? If you had a shop, how reasonable? Thanks |

I had Gary Fairbanks do the tranny, I believe it was $1100 or $1300 and well worth it. Not a grind yet. Slips into gear much better.
