Mfi stack cold start fittings
I noticed that some of the plastic fittings that are connected to the velocity stacks are loose. These are the small fittings that are only used during a cold start and use 3mm hoses and the special compressed type hose clamps.
Although i do not use the cold start mechanism i suspect that i am getting air intrusion at those locations. Would anyone know what type of sealant or glue should be used on these fittings? |

I don’t think there’s one right answer (haven’t seen anything from Porsche on this) but I would recommend reinzosil. It’s not permanent, will blend in, and should seal.

Since they are above the throttle plates, any air intrusion at that point will not be a vacuum leak and would not affect the way the car runs.
It would be unfiltered air, though. I am not using the cold start nozzles on my 3.2 MFI and I used rubber hole plugs to block off the holes and removed the nozzles entirely.
