Source for magnetic sheets
Ok . . I have searched the interenet and found many sources for the magnetic sheets but none that have rolls of length or of width that I want.
Need to cut the stuff for numbers, nose protection, etc. Anyone have their golden source that they would be willing to share here. Thanks as always. |
You have a magnetic nose? I just hope this doesn't degenerate into same wierd thing as that "socks" thread. Zinc oxide should protect your nose.

Most local signs stores have them.....
BTW, I can make a bunch of vinyl numbers that can be used and then taken off.....toss and use a new set. Magnetic ones need a piece of tape on the leading edge as they will fall off over 50 mph..... |

Mike: I'm all ears (& magnetic nose of course:rolleyes: ) Send me a PM with the particular . . . and how they stay on. Thanks Thanks Greg & Jim. Marc |
Save yourself time and anguish.. contact Chuck Moreland.. Elephant racing. already cut ready to install. Somethings are easier done when you let the other guy do it.

I second McMaster Carr. That's where I got mine, and it's pretty good price and color selection as well.

Two $35 rolls of Mag Vinyl is enough to do the full trunk treatment on two cars. One roll will do if you want a single color.
Yep, you can buy the finished product [slightly different design to mine] from Elephant Racing via Pelican. I've run with this for more than one full track season, and it has already prevented a ton of rock scars. No rubber and track spooge to remove from the paint, either. It works well. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/999small1.jpg |
