1976 911 - Fuel lines - Converting from CIS to Weber

Hi!

I'm in the process of converting my 1976 911 S from CIS to Weber 40IDAs.

I have already purchased a PMO regulator from our host with barb fittings.

Looking at my existing CIS fuel lines though, they have threaded ends and I now realise this won't be quite the plug and play exercise I had anticipated

What are my options here to connect the existing fuel lines to the PMO regulator barb fittings?

Thanks!

In discussions with Len Cummings (BoxsterGT), I learned that he does conversion lines/fittings for this application, CIS to carbs. Outlet of CIS type fuel filter to AN-6, and AN-6 to return line fitting.

Len makes a nice two piece kit. Basically you get two lines: one feed and one return. The return is a threaded fittiting to the stock return line and hiqh quality fuel line with a clamp for the barb PMO output. The feed is similar and goes from the where the old hookup to the filter / accumulator was to the PMO. You can see pics of lens lines in my build thread toward the 21 page mark If i remember. My setup is a bit different as my fuel pump is in the back on a 75. And i had a custom AN line made with a one way check valve to help with hot starts.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Being in Australia, it's a bit tricky sourcing some of these parts without a longer wait.

Fortunately though, I found a local hose shop who was able to create new hoses for me which are crimped with connectors on one end and the other end is open ready to slip onto the PMO barb fitting.

One hurdle down, a few more to go!
