Best aftermarket fiberglass panel vendor
Who makes the best aftermarket fiberglass panels (Hood, Fenders, rear flares, engine deck lid and spoiler)? I’m looking at gt-racing and American International Racing.

Check out TRE in Van Nuys California. Dave the owner is a great guy. I’m sure he would be happy to speak with you about fiberglass parts.

Not familiar with American international. Many say Getty design is one of the best, I recently bought an rs bumper from gt racing and was pleased with quality and fitment. Regardless where you buy parts massaging will have to be done for fitment.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. Yes, shipping from the UK would be cost prohibitive.

I can attest that EB makes some ridiculously nice glass parts- I bought an SCRS front bumper and it was stunningly well made.
The shipping to Chicago was twice the price of the bumper!!

I had some lotus 7 seats by JK composites out of England, shipped to Toronto, Canada and used a container service and it was reasonable. You cant be in a hurry as they fill unsold portions of a container with smaller shipments. The container leaves when its full and comes by boat. Took a little over a month and a half once the seats got to the container service. Requires some cooperation from the supplier as they have to pack it for container travel.

I’ve bought a few things from DP Motorsport in Germany. The shipping to California wasn’t that bad but they were smaller parts then a bumper.

I also bought bumpers from ST-Parts in Germany along with a bunch of other backdate stuff. The shipping via DHL was actually pretty reasonable (~$350) and for the quantity of parts I bought it was a drop in the bucket.
The bumpers were also really really nice and very light but unfortunately weren’t the right ones for my car. I still have the rear bumper for a car with carrera flares for sale.

I've heard the opposite about EB. Some very disappointed buyers. I have no personal experience.

CCP Fabrication in Florida makes nice quality parts ... i ordered a fiberglass front hood for my 89 911 and the workmanship is top notch. They even managed to ship it to Montreal for me.

Yeah. AIR is "past its prime". They fenders on my project from them had to be extensively reworked. When James Garner was involved it was probably still pretty good.

www.f-s-h.com Their stuff is outstanding. In Germany, so not cheap on the shipping, (I know because I just did it) but the quality was great. Also had good luck with TRE.
