Hot start relay installation problems

Well I got the relay all hooked up and installed but when I start her up the starter starts to make a grinding noise. But she starts up first shot though except for the problem above. So I took off the relay kit and put her back the way she was before.

But what could be the problem? Some input please.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe you should go to Paulie?
