Swapping new key handle?
 

Bought a new key handle and took the old key handle apart. Not sure how to remove the key though. I don't see where the handle can split apart where the key is held. I assume it pulls out with some force? I would rather confirm before giving it a try, don't want to damage the original handle.

You need to pry the halves apart and there is a tiny spring and a small plastic key lock that holes the key blade in the plastic part.
