Talking Car is loaded and waiting.

I haven't slept all week. I got the car all loaded up tonight. Here are some pics of my prep work.

Man, am I a DORK! I can't help it. I feel like it's almost Christmas.

Looks like you were able to get those wheels to work. Did you find another half or were you able to fix what you had?

I'm jealous, because it's been six months since I've been to the track.

BTW, I've never met you but that bicycle in the second pic might be a little too small for you.

Have fun!
Jim

Well Shawn you have forgot to pack the cooler you must not leave the most important thing at home, anyway, cut four pieces of plywood to fit under your jack stand so they dont sink in the asphalt, but make sure they are several inches bigger then the base, have a great time, Kevin

Shawn, why not run the BBS wheels as your street rims and the cookie-cutters as the track rims? I like the gold mesh, it'd look good on your car.

Strap that floor jack down! If you have to slam on the brakes you're going to get a monster of a reverse ding!

You're going to Gingerman right?! Have fun bud, that's my favorite track! I think at last count I've racked up about 1500 laps there, and still learn something every time, very technical and a heckuva lot of fun. Nothing to hit either, so go for it!

I am gonna strap down the jack and stands. The cooler is coming in the support vehicle(Intrepid). I ride the bike in parades . The Gold mesh wheels are forged 7 and 8's and the cookie cutters are 6 and 7's. Plus the cookies have the all seasons and the mesh have the Khumos. The gold wheels do look good. I put them on for a few days to see how the ride. I have been to Gingerman a few times and been on the track but never under my own power. Once in an F40 and once in a 1/2 scale 962 with a Yamaha FZR 1000 engine! I just hope I am a better driver on the track than I am at auto cross!
Oh, no one mentioned this but the FOURTH gold rim is in the spare tire cubby.

All you're missing is a cordless impact driver from Harbor Freight - best X-mas present my parents ever gave me.

Why don't you load all of that stuff in the support vehicle? Wouldn't that be easier than having to unload all of it just to go through Tech?

Magilla,
The support vehicle will be loaded down with my pitcrew. My two young sons, my wife, car seats, pack-n-play, stroller, two coolers, suitcase, etc.
The plan is to unload the support vehicle at the hotel then transfer the gear over. PITA!

Ah! I forgot about pit crew!. Makes sense now. Whatever you do, don't exchange the PITA for SUV (or Minivan)!
