Leakdown & Compression Results from PPI

Hi - I am considering buying an '82 SC that has ~75K miles on it. The following are the leakdown and compression test results. I have not a had a chance to speak with the mechanic who did the PPI. However I would like to be prepared and be able to somewhat verify what he says.

The wide range of #s on both tests seems concerning to me or am I off on that?

1- 155 / 14%
2 - 162 / 14%
3 - 160 / 5%
4 - 165 / 4%
5 - 170 / 4%
6 - 165 / 15%

Thanks!

Go for an Italian tuneup and recheck. I never get too excited on the first check. If it stays the same, maybe check for snug valve adjust. Kind of early miles for a top end job, but not unheard of. Was the test done hot?

If its been sitting corrosion on the valve seats will cause bad numbers. Takes about a hundred miles or so for them to re seat.
