Alt Air Deflector 80SC

Can somebody spell out the proper air deflector orientation on my 3.0?

Duh, had the thing marked but then cleaned it and took off the markings.

Been apart a while waiting for cerakote and have spaced on this issue. Search only turns up 3.2 which is a different deflector.

Thanks

More clarity.

Looking at the fan/housing assembly from the front, where are the fins located - 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock?

yes, if you are standing at the back of the car, there should be a fin at approx 9 and approx 12.

Think of the rotation direction of the fan... the blades are there to try to make sure an equal amount of air passes over the left side and the right side of the motor. Without the deflector blades, most of the air would be thrown to the right side of the motor, 4,5,6.

Thanks, Mike. Bentley, 101, etc. do not have note or a clear pic of this. Since this is a PITA to assemble in the car, I only want to do it once.

Thanks. Installed and running without any major cursing. Small space and big paws.

Did manage to scratch my freshly cerakoted housing though. Ugh!!!
